Sirena WIP

A Sketch of a mermaid name Sirena. This mermaid is for my group project in my art class. 

To briefly tell you of the mermaid. It is a local legend on the island of Guam. The Legend of Sirena is about a local girl who loves the ocean. One day she was instructed by her mother to collect coconut shells to make iron. So she went out but got distracted and never completed her chores. Her mother became furious with her so she curse her daughter to turn into a fish. Sirena's Godmother so happens to visit. During the moment of Sirena's mother anger, the godmother intervene and "save the part of her human to me." So instead of Sirena becoming a fish, she is now a mermaid. At the end, her mother is regretful of what she did. They say their goodbyes and Sirena live her life in the ocean.
